Cultural Tapestries: Stories in Color

Solo Exhibition at the Norwich Arts Center. May–June 2026

Cultural Tapestries: Stories in Color was a deeply meaningful milestone in my artistic journey, bringing together a collection of artwork created over many years. Inspired by my Indian heritage, multicultural experiences, and the communities that have shaped my life, the exhibition explored themes of culture, connection, memory, and storytelling through painting, drawing, mixed media, and traditional Indian art forms.

Sharing this collection with so many wonderful friends, family, and community members was truly an honor. I am incredibly grateful to everyone who visited the exhibition, attended the opening reception, and supported my work with such kindness and encouragement.

My heartfelt thanks to the Norwich Arts Center for providing this wonderful opportunity and for helping make the exhibition such a memorable experience.

This exhibition will always hold a special place in my heart as a celebration of the stories, cultures, and connections that continue to inspire my art.

Enjoy a few photos from the opening reception and a video of the gallery installation below.

Melody in Bloom

Community Mosaic Mural. Rose Arts Festival, Norwich. June 2026

Melody in Bloom is a vibrant community mosaic mural created during the 2026 Rose Arts Festival in Norwich. Designed to celebrate creativity, connection, and community, the mural brought together people of all ages to create something beautiful, one puzzle piece at a time.

The finished mural measures 5 feet by 3.5 feet and is made up of 126 individually hand-painted puzzle pieces. Each participant added their own unique design, transforming simple pieces into a colorful work of art that reflects the spirit and diversity of our community.

It was a joy to help bring this project to life and see friends, families, and community members come together through creativity. Melody in Bloom is a beautiful reminder that every small contribution helps create something truly special.

Tides Of Serenity

Heart to Heart

Commissioned for Always Home's Heart to Heart Gala. 2026

Heart to Heart is a custom acrylic painting created with love for Always Home in Mystic, Connecticut, an organization dedicated to helping families with young children prevent homelessness and find stability, dignity, and hope.

Painted on a 3 ft × 3 ft gallery-wrapped canvas, the garden-themed artwork features butterflies, flowers, and warm light as symbols of growth, hope, protection, and the beauty that blossoms when a community comes together with compassion. Knowing this painting would help support families on their journey home made its creation especially meaningful to me.

I was deeply honored to have the artwork featured throughout Always Home’s Heart to Heart Gala, where its imagery was thoughtfully incorporated into the event, from the program guide and table seating cards to the auction materials and floral arrangements inspired by the painting itself.

The painting received multiple bids during the live auction and now has a special home of its own. Knowing that this piece helped support such an important mission is one of the most rewarding experiences of my artistic journey.

I am sincerely grateful to Always Home for the opportunity to contribute through my art.

GLOW
Community Mosaic Mural.

Rose Arts festival in partnership with Mystic Museum of Art is proud to announce, “GLOW”, a vibrant community mosaic mural that  showcases our community’s collective creativity and spirit of unity.

The mural’s artwork is a representation of the beauty, culture and history of Norwich, the rose of New England.

Community Engagement in the Mural:

The mural is designed like a large puzzle with 192, 4×4 inch removable pieces. On the day of the festival, participants will each work on a separate piece of the mosaic puzzle and create zendala art to represent their own unique “art inspired” word. The finished artwork will be pieced back on the large mural. It will be exciting to see the mosaic come together with a variety of contributions from Rose Arts festival participants.
